Keith Carradine is an acclaimed American actor, singer and songwriter with a career spanning film, television, theatre and music. Born in San Mateo, California, on 8 August 1949, he comes from the celebrated Carradine acting family. He first gained major attention through his work with director Robert Altman and went on to build a distinguished international career across cinema, television and the stage.

He is widely known for performances in McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Nashville, The Duellists, Pretty Baby, The Long Riders, Choose Me, Deadwood, Dexter, Fargo, Madam Secretary and The Power of the Dog. In music, he wrote and performed the song I'm Easy for Nashville, winning both the Academy Award and the Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
